Bran Cake Ingredients

• 3/4 cup all purpose flour
• 3/4 cup whole wheat stone ground flour
• 1 tsp sea salt
• 1 tbsp raw sugar
• 2 tsp baking soda
• 2 eggs
• 3 tbsp melted butter
• 1 to 1-1/2 cups warmed milk
• 1 tbsp molasses
• 1 tbsp honey
• 1/2 cup bran

To make Bran Cakes

1. Combine flours and sift. Resift with salt, sugar, and baking soda.
2. Beat 2 eggs until stiff.
3. Blend butter, milk, molasses, and honey. Slowly combine eggs and blend in flour mix.
4. Cook Bran Cakes in an iron pan as pancakes.

Serves six.
