- allow 6 asparagus stalks per person
- sea salt
- white pepper
- butter
- Wash asparagus spears in clean water, and snap or cut off bottom of asparagus spears.
- Bring salted water to a boil.
- Boil (or steam) asparagus for 7 minutes until stalks are tender but not soft. Drain water.
- Cover asparagus with melted butter, and sprinkle lightly with white pepper.
