1/2 cup wild rice
1/2 cup white rice
1 medium onion, chopped
3 tbsps butter
1/3 cup slivered almonds
1/2 cup dried sliced mushrooms
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup sauterne
4 Rock Cornish game hens

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Cook rice in rapidly boiling water until tender.
Saute onion in 2 tbsps butter 5 mins; remove from pan.
Saute almonds in 1 tbsp butter 5 mins.
Lightly mix rice, onion, almonds, mushrooms, salt and wine.
Stuff hens with mixture; truss.
Place in shallow roasting pan and bake 1 hr.
