1 or 2 slices bacon
2 tbsps pecans or walnuts
1 onion, chopped
1/2 tbsp flour
3/4 cup chicken broth
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup shredded spinach
1/16 tsp pepper
1/16 tsp ground nutmeg
5 drops Tabasco sauce
shredded sharp Cheddar cheese to garnish
shredded radish to garnish
shredded green or red onion to garnish

Fry bacon in skillet until crisp; remove and drain bacon.
In same skillet, brown nuts and onion in the bacon fat.
Stir in flour, then gradually stir in chicken broth and milk.
Cook and stir until thickened.
Stir in spinach, pepper, nutmeg and Tabsco sauce.
Garnish with shredded cheese, radishes, and onions.
