Feather Rolls Ingredients

To make Feather Rolls

  1. In mixer bowl combine 2 cups of the flour and the yeast.
  2. Combine potatoes, canola oil, granulated sugar, sea salt and 1 1/2 cups of warm water (110 degrees). Add to dry ingredients; beat at low speed with electric mixer for about 1/2 minute, scraping sides of bowl constantly.
  3. Beat 3 minutes at high speed.
  4. Stir in, by hand, the remaining flour.
  5. Cover, refrigerate for at least 2 hours or up to 3 days.
  6. Punch down; turn out onto a lightly floured surface. Cover; let rest 10 minutes.
  7. With lightly floured hands, shape into 24 buns.
  8. Place in greased 13x9x2 inch baking pan.
  9. Cover; let rise until almost double (40 minutes).
  10. Bake at 400° F. for 16-20 minutes.
