French's French Fried Onions, Original 26.5oz 751g

French’s Original Crispy Fried Onions add savory onion flavor and satisfying crunch to everyday dishes. Made from real onions and fried until golden, they’re known for their light, crispy texture and rich, roasted onion taste.

Best known as the classic topping for green bean casserole, French’s Fried Onions are far more versatile. Sprinkle over burgers, sandwiches, salads, baked beans, mashed potatoes, and vegetables for instant crunch. They also work as a flavorful coating for chicken, pork, beef, or fish — a ready-made substitute for bread crumbs that adds onion character and crisp texture.

Use French fried onions straight from the container as a finishing topper, mix into casseroles and side dishes, or crush lightly for breading. This large foodservice-size container is ideal for frequent home cooks, gatherings, and kitchens that rely on consistent crunch and flavor.

Ingredients: Onions, Palm Oil, Wheat Flour, Salt and Dextrose. Allergy Information: Made on the same equipment as equipment as products containing milk.

French's French Fried Onions, Original 26.5oz 751g - FAQ

Q: Are French’s Fried Onions made from real onions?
A: Yes. They are made from real sliced onions that are lightly battered and fried until crisp.
Q: Do Frenchs’s French fried onions need refrigeration after opening?
A: No. They are shelf stable. Store tightly closed in a cool, dry place to maintain crunch.
Q: Can they be cooked into casseroles?
A: Yes. French fried onions are commonly baked into casseroles and hot dishes. Some crunch will soften during cooking, so many people add extra on top after baking.
Q: Can French Fried Onions be used as breading?
A: Yes. Crush them and use as a flavorful coating for chicken, pork, beef, or fish in place of bread crumbs.
Q: How long do they stay crunchy after opening?
A: When stored sealed and dry, French’s onions keep their texture well. Exposure to moisture or humidity will soften them.
Q: Are they only for green bean casserole?
A: No. While French’s fried onions are famous for casseroles, they’re widely used on burgers, salads, baked potatoes, vegetables, sandwiches, and soups for added crunch and onion flavor.
