Ingredients in Fried Apples Recipe

• 6 tart apples, peeled, seeded, and cut in 1/8ths
• 1/2-1 tsp cinnamon
• 1/4-1/2 cup water
• 1 tbsp butter or margarine
• 3 tbsps white or brown sugar, or maple syrup

To make Fried Apples

1. Melt margarine in skillet, add sweetener, cinnamon, and apples.
2. Stir ingredients to allow apples to begin to brown.
3. Reduce heat, add small amount of water and cover.
4. Cook until firm, but not mushy.
5. Serve as vegetable with meat.
