Ghirardelli Dark Chcolate Melting Wafers are perfect for covering strawberries, nuts, and pretzels with a sweet and creamy coating. Also perfect for making decadent desserts like bonbons and truffles.
Melt Ghirardelli candy making and dipping wafers carefully. Be sure all containers and utensils are dry.
- Place 2 cups Ghirardelli candy making and dipping wafers in microwave safe container.
- Microwave at half power or defrost setting for 30 seconds.
- Stir thoroughly (product keeps its original shape until stirred).
- If not completely melted, continue to microwave at 15 second intervals and stir until smooth. (over heating will cause wafers to burn).
Stove Top Method:
- Place desired amount of Ghirardelli candy making and digpping wafers in top pan of a double boiler over low heat.
- Stir constantly until smooth and melted.
- Do not allow water to boil.
- 1 basket large strawberries with stems, cleaned and dried
- 1 cup Ghirardelli Dark Chocolate candy making and dipping wafers
- Melt Ghirardelli Dark Chocolate candy making and dipping wafers using above desired melting directions.
- Hold each stawberry by stem and dip strawberries completely.
- Place coated strawberries on waxed paper.
- Cool in refrigerator for 10-15 minutes, or until chocolate is hard

- Melt desired amount of Ghirardelli Dark Chocolate candy making and dipping wafers using above desired melting directions.
- Pour melted Ghirardelli Dark Chocolate candy making and dipping wafers into clean, dry candy molds (do not grease).
- Tap molds gently to remove any air bubbles in melted chocolate.
- Cool in refrierator for 10-15 minutes, or until hard and pieces easily release from molds.
