Preheat oven to 350 if cooking stuffing in a casserole dish
Saute onions in butter until tender.
Stir in next 3 ingredients.
In a large bowl, combine onion mixture with bread cubes and broth, mix well.
Use as stuffing for poultry and bake as usual, or place in greased casserole and cover.
Bake for 20 minutes, uncover and bake 5 minutes or until lightly browned.
