Ingredients in Hobnails

• 1 cup light brown sugar
• 1/2 cup softened butter
• 1 egg, beaten
• 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour, sifted
• 1/2 tsp baking soda
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1 tsp ground cinnamon
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 1/2 cup raisins

To make Hobnails Recipe

1. Preheat oven to 375° F.
2. Cream together the sugar and butter.
3. Add beaten egg and vanilla.
4. Sift together the dry ingredients.
5. Stir the dry ingredients into the creamed sugar mixing in a little at a time. Beat well.
6. Gently fold in raisins.
7. Form batter into small balls and place three inches apart on cookie sheet.
8. Bake for 12-15 minutes.
