A recipe for a simple and easy to make meatloaf using ground beef. You could substitute ground pork for half of the meat if desired.

• 2 lbs ground beef
• 1 cup milk
• 1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
• 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
• 1/2 of a green pepper chopped finely
• 2 eggs
• 1 cup bread crumbs or cracker meal
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 1 tsp sugar
• 1 medium onion, chopped fine

1. Preheat oven to 350° F.
2. In a large bowl combine all items.
3. Place mix in an ungreased casserole dish.
4. Back uncovered for about 1/2 hour, then cover and bake for another 60 minutes.
