- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- egg white, slightly beaten
- pecan pieces
- Preheat oven to 250 degrees.
- Thoroughly cream butter and sugar.
- Add egg and mix well.
- Combine flour and cinnamon and add.
- Pat dough into ungreased 15 X 10 inch pan or cookie sheet with sides.
- Brush with egg white.
- Sprinkle pecan pieces on top and press into dough.
- Bake 1 hour.
- Cut while warm into 4 long strips and 6 across; then cut into triangles.
