2 pounds shrimp

Batter:

1 cup flour
1 beaten egg
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon baking powder
3/4 cup water

Sauce:

3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons vinegar
1/2 cup pineapple juice
1/4 cup water
1/2 package pineapple
shrimp sauce mix
1 No. 303 can pineapple tidbits
2 tablespoons toasted
sesame seed

Clean shrimp. Combine ingredients for batter.
Dip shrimp in batter and deep fry until golden brown.
Combine sauce ingredients and bring to a boil. Simmer one minute.
Place drained pineapple tidbits on shrimps and pour sauce. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
