Argo Corn Starch has twice the thickening power of flour. When a gravy, sauce or soup calls for flour, use 1/2 of the amount called for in the recipe to thicken.
To make cake flour: For 1 cup cake flour combine 3/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons all purpose flour with 2 tablespoons Argo Corn Starch. (or measure 1 cup flour, and replace 2 tablespoons flour with Argo Corn Starch).
