Recipe: Grilled Scallions

Recipes using Durkee White Pepper

• 12 thick scallion or large green onions
• Olive oil
• 1/4 tsp white pepper

1. Trim ends off scallions, leaving green portions attached.
2. Place on a broiler pan.
3. Combine white pepper with 1 - 2 tsp olive oil.
4. Brush scallions generously with oil.
5. Grill onions, turning occasionally, about 4 to 5 minutes under broiler until slightly charred.
6. Serve as a vegetable side dish.
