McCormick Slow Cookers Savory Pot Roast 4 x 1.3oz (36g)

All of the seasonings to cook a Savory Pot Roast. Just add some vegetables, such as carrots, celery, onion and potatoes and cook in your slow cooking crock pot.

Preparation Time: 10 minutes  Cooking time:  4 to 8 hours  Servings: 8

YOU WILL NEED

• 1 package of McCormick Slow Cookers Savory Pot Roast Seasoning Mix
• 2 1/2 to 3 pounds boneless chuck or rump roast, trimmed of visible fat
• 5 cups of cut-up vegetables such as carrots, celery, potatoes and onion.
• 1 cup water

Directions

1. Place pot roast and vegetables in slow cooker.
2. Mix Savory Pot Roast Seasoning with water and blend well.
3. Pour over roast and vegetables. Cover.
4. Cook for 8 hours on low, or 4 hours on high. For best results do not lift lid while cooking.
5. Remove roast and vegetables and place on a serving platter.
6. Stir sauce before serving.

Variations

Use 1 cup red wine in place of water.

Use 3 1/2 pounds beef brisket in place of roast. Makes 12 servings.
