McCormick Slow Cookers Savory Pot Roast 4 x 1.3oz (36g)
All of the seasonings to cook a Savory Pot Roast. Just add some vegetables, such as carrots, celery, onion and potatoes and cook in your slow cooking crock pot.
Preparation Time: 10 minutes Cooking time: 4 to 8 hours Servings: 8
YOU WILL NEED
- 1 package of McCormick Slow Cookers Savory Pot Roast Seasoning Mix
- 2 1/2 to 3 pounds boneless chuck or rump roast, trimmed of visible fat
- 5 cups of cut-up vegetables such as carrots, celery, potatoes and onion.
- 1 cup water
Directions
- Place pot roast and vegetables in slow cooker.
- Mix Savory Pot Roast Seasoning with water and blend well.
- Pour over roast and vegetables. Cover.
- Cook for 8 hours on low, or 4 hours on high. For best results do not lift lid while cooking.
- Remove roast and vegetables and place on a serving platter.
- Stir sauce before serving.
Variations
Use 1 cup red wine in place of water.
Use 3 1/2 pounds beef brisket in place of roast. Makes 12 servings.
