Slow Cookers Chicken Pot Pie

• 1/3 cup McCormick Slow Cookers Chicken Pot Pie Seasoning Mix
• 1lb boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
• 2 medium potatoes, peeled, cut into 1/2 inch cubes (about 2 cups)
• 1 cup finely chopped onion
• 1 cup chopped celery
• 1 cup chicken stock
• 1 cup frozen peas and carrots
• 1/2 cup heavy cream
• 1/2 cup all purpose baking mix (such as Bisquick)
• 3 tablespoons milk

1. Place chicken, potatoes, onion and celery in slow cooker.
2. Mix McCormick Slow Cookers Chicken Pot Pie Seasoning Mix and chicken stock in bowl.
3. Pour over chicken and vegetables in slow cooker.  Stir to coat all chicken and vegetables.
4. Cover slow cooker.
5. Cook 7 hours on low or 3 hours on high.
6. Remove lid and stir in peas and carrots and heavy cream.
7. Mix all purpose baking mix (such as Bisquick) and milk in bowl until soft dough forms.
8. Drop dough by tablespoonsful into chicken mixture in slow cooker to form 5 dumplings.
9. Cover slow cooker.
10. Cook 1 hour longer on high or until dumplings are cooked through.

Tip: For a thicker sauce, prepare as directed, except whisk in 2 tablespoons cornstarch with the heavy cream.
