Ingredient Called For	Substitute With
1 tbsp fresh herbs	1 tsp dried herbs, or 1/2 tsp powdered herbs
1 square (1 oz) chocolate	3 tbsp cocoa + 1 tbsp crisco
2 cups cake flour	1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour + 1 tbsp corn starch
2/3 cups honey	1 cup sugar + 1/3 cup water
1 1/2 cups corn syrup	1 cup sugar + 1/2 cup water
1 cup sour milk	1 cup milk + 1 tsp baking soda
Juice of 1 lemon	3 tbsp lemon juice
Juice of 1 orange	1/2 cup orange juice
1 clove garlic	1/8 tsp garlic powder
1 medium onion	2 tbsp dried minced onion or 1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp baking powder	1/4 tsp baking soda & 1 tsp cream of tarter
1 cup melted butter	1 cup canola or olive oil
1 tbsp cornstarch	2 tbsp flour
