Recipe: Onion Soup II

Quantity 

• 15 medium onions (chopped)
• 2 tbsp bacon fat
• 1 tsp sea salt
• 1/2 tsp garlic powder
• 1/2 tsp oregano
• 2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
• 3 tbsp soy sauce
• 2 beef bouillon cubes
• 2 qts water
• 1 cup dry red wine

Saute onions in bacon fat until golden. Add remaining ingredients and stir well. Bring to boil and cook for ten minutes on high heat. Reduce heat and simmer for 30-40 minutes. Use a heavy pan. Serves 8.
