Summer Sausage Ingredients

• 5 pounds ground hamburger
• 2 tbsp salt
• 1 tbsp Adolph's Tenderizer
• 1 tsp hickory salt
• 2 1/2 tsp mustard seed
• 2 1/2 tsp garlic salt
• 1 tsp crushed red pepper
• 1 tsp liquid smoke

To make Summer Sausage

1. Mix well then refrigerate.
2. Mix once each day for 3 days.
3. On the 3rd day make into 6 rolls.
4. On the 4th day bake the Summer Sausage, covered with foil, for 8 hours in a 160 degree oven. Bake Summer Sausage on broiler pan and when cool, wrap and freeze.
