- 1 large and 1 small can B & M baked beans
- 1 medium onion, quartered
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp bacon drippings
- 3 tbsp dark molasses
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 6 strips bacon (cooked crisp)
- Rub a casserole dish with butter and add the baked beans.
- Layer baked beans with bits of bacon, a sprinkle of brown sugar, a sprinkle of garlic powder and molasses.
- Add bacon drippings judiciously, the beans will absorb them.
- Place the quartered onion pieces in the beans.
- Bake at 250° for an hour or so.
