1 large and 1 small can B & M baked beans
1 medium onion, quartered
2 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp bacon drippings
3 tbsp dark molasses
1/4 tsp garlic powder
6 strips bacon (cooked crisp)

Rub a casserole dish with butter and add the baked beans.
Layer baked beans with bits of bacon, a sprinkle of brown sugar, a sprinkle of garlic powder and molasses.
Add bacon drippings judiciously, the beans will absorb them.
Place the quartered onion pieces in the beans.
Bake at 250° for an hour or so.
