Trying to keep us here at Spice Place on our toes, Tones Steak Dust has again been rebranded by ACH Foods, this time as Durkee Steak Dust. Please visit the Durkee Steak Dust page to order this product. Durkee Steak Dust is the exact same seasoning that you enjoyed under the Tone's Label in a new larger package labeled as Durkee Brand. Tones and Durkee are both brands offered by ACH Foods, Memphis, TN.A hearty blend of savory flavors: spices, garlic and onion. Add mouth-watering flavor to choice cuts of steak or hamburgers before grilling. Rub into beef or pork roasts or season Portobello mushrooms.
Recipe for Smokey Blue Cheese Burger:
- Melt 1/4 cup butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add 2 thinly sliced onions, cook for 15 - 20 minutes until caramelized. Add 1 tbsp Tone's Steak Dust Seasoning.
- Season 6 hamburger patties with 1 tbsp Tone's Steak Dust Seasoning.
- Grill hamburgers to desired doneness.
- Place cooked hamburgers on toasted buns, top with caramelized onions and sprinkle 1 tbsp blue cheese over each hamburger.
Makes 6 Servings.
