Use McCormick Premium Brown Gravy Mix with pork or beef. 1/4 cup (3 tbsp) McCormick Premium Brown Gravy Mix is equivalent to the amount of gravy mix in McCormick retail pouches.
Directions for Preparation
- To make 1 cup prepared gravy: Mix 1/4 cup Gravy Mix with 1 cup boiling water.
- To make 1 quart prepared gravy: Mix 1 cup Gravy Mix with 1 quart boiling water.
- To make 1 gallon prepared gravy: Mix entire bottle Gravy Mix with 1 gallon boiling water.
- Bring, water to boil and remove from heat.
- Gradually whisk in McCormick Premium Brown Gravy Mix.
- Whisk for 30 seconds to 1 minute. If a thinner consistency is desired, stir in additional hot water as desired.
Herbed Mushroom Brown Gravy: Reduce boiling water to 3/4 cup and prepare gravy as directed. Stir 1 cup chopped sauteed mushrooms and 1/4 tsp Thyme leaves into prepared Brown gravy.
