McCormick Egg Shade Food Color 1 Quart 0.94L

McCormick Egg Shade (Yellow) Food Color is a concentrated, water-based liquid coloring that adds a bright, sunny yellow hue without affecting flavor. This quart bottle is ideal for tinting cake batters, frostings, cookies, candy, and desserts, and is especially useful for enhancing the natural color of savory dishes like yellow rice, cheese sauce, and chicken or turkey gravy.

The smooth liquid blends evenly for consistent results and lets you control the shade from pale butter yellow to rich golden color. Add food color gradually until the desired hue is achieved. Perfect for baking, decorating, and bringing warm color to everyday cooking.

Get creative and come up with your own unique colors by blending two or more colors. See our Food Color Blending Guide.

For making larger measurements, ¼ tsp is about same as 20–25 drops of food color. Bare in mind that most home recipes use about 2-5 drops of color.

Ingredients: Water, Propylene Glycol, FD&C Yellow 5, Propylparaben (as a preservative) and FD&C Red 40.
