McCormick Gelatin, Unflavored 20z 566g
Use 6 tbsp (2 ounces or 1/4 cup) of unflavored gelatin to gel 1 gallon liquid. To dissolve, sprinkle gelatin on cold liquid; let stand for 2 to 3 minutes; then add hot liquid and stir until dissolved.
Unflavored gelatin can be used to thicken cold sauces and glazes, and to double the volume of sponge and whipped desserts. Gelatin is used as a jelly base for soups, salads, desserts, and as an emulsifying agent in candy. Use in frozen desserts to prevent ice crystals.
Gelatin is pure protein and is easily digested. Contains about 315 1/2 tsp servings of unflavored gelatin. Calories per 1/2 tsp serving: 5 | |
