McCormick uses only the freshest garlic that's just been harvested. Then it is carefully inspected, washed, sliced, dried, and milled. Then the garlic is roasted to achieve the characteristic nutty, rich flavor, and deep down color typical of roasted garlic.
Tips for Using McCormick Roasted Garlic:
1 average size clove of fresh garlic is equal to 1/8 tsp McCormick roasted garlic. Use 1/8 to 1/4 tsp roasted garlic to 2 pounds of pork, beef, chicken or lamb. Use 1/8 to 1/4 tsp of roasted garlic per 3 cups of barbeque, tomato, or other sauces. Add 1/8 to 1/4 tsp roasted garlic per 3 cups of soups.
