Directions for Cooking Barbecue Pulled Pork:
Barbecue Spareribs Recipe Substitute 4 pounds of pork spareribs, cut into 2 rib sections, for the pork shoulder roast. Use 1/2 cup each of ketchup, brown sugar and cider vinegar.
Barbecue Beef Brisket Recipe Use 3 1/2 pounds of beef brisket, trimmed and cut in half. Add 1 large onion, cut into wedges. Continue as directed for Pulled Pork BBQ.
Pulled Chicken Recipe Use 2 1/2 pounds of boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs. Add 1/2 cup water. Continue as directed for Pulled Pork BBQ.
Pulled Pork Recipe Variation: Use 1 can (8 oz) of tomato sauce in place of the ketchup and vinegar.
Slow Cooker Tip: For best results, do not remove cover while cooking.
