McCormick Ground Dry Mustard in a bulk professional chef sized container.
Mustard, unlike most other aromatic spices, has no aroma when dry. Dry Mustard must be moistened for about 10 minutes to develop its sharp, hot, tangy flavor. The spice Mustard is derived from two commercially important classes of herbs: Brassica hirta that produces white or yellow seeds; and Brassica juncea that produces brown and Oriental seeds.
1 teaspoon Ground Mustard equals 1 tablespoon prepared mustard in cooked recipes.
Cooking Suggestions: Add to cheese soufflé, cheese spreads and sauces. Use in French dressing, mayonnaise, barbecue sauces, Italian dressing or ham glaze. Delicious in egg, potato, macaroni and shrimp salad.
Ingredients: Ground Mustard (Mustard Flour).
