Vanilla Sauce Recipe
- Melt 1 cup butter or margarine over low heat. Pour into a warm Pyrex measuring cup. Let settle, and carefully pour off clear portion of butter into a small bowl to make clarified butter.
- Stir in 1/2 tsp lemon juice and 1/4 tsp McCormick Imitation Vanilla Flavor. Server hot with steamed lobster (or other seafood) and steamed vegetables.
Honey Vanilla Glazed Pork Tenderloin Recipe
- 2 pork tenderloins (about 3 pounds)
- 1/2 cup honey
- 4 tbsp vinegar
- 2 tsp McCormick Imitation Vanilla Flavor
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp ground mustard
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Place pork tenderloins on a rack in a baking pan.
- Mix honey, vinegar, Imitation Vanilla Flavor, pepper, paprika, ground mustard and salt. Use as a glaze, and brush over meat.
- Roast in a 375° F oven for 45 minutes (until internal temperature reaches 165° F), brushing with additional glaze every 10 to 15 minutes.
- Slice meat and serve.
