McCormick Spaghetti Sauce Mix, Italian Herb 20.5oz 581g

A traditional blend of seasonings containing the unique flavors of Italy including basil, garlic and marjoram.

Ingredients: Sugar, Salt, Onion, Modified Corn Starch, Spices and Herbs (Including Basil, Marjoram, Black Pepper and Red Pepper), Garlic, Red Bell Peppers and Sunflower Oil.

 

Recipe Size	2  cups	6 Quarts	3 Gallons
Spaghetti Sauce Mix	3 tbsp	2 1/3 cups	Full Bottle
Tomato Paste	6 oz can	48 ozs	1 #10 can
Water	1 1/2 cups	1 gallon	2  gallons
Oil (Olive or Canola)	1 tbsp	1/2 cup	1 cup

Directions

1. Stir McCormick Italian Herb Spaghetti Sauce Mix with tomato paste, water and oil in sauce pot until well blended.
2. Bring to a boil on medium to medium-high (for larger recipes) heat; Cover. Reduce heat.
3. Cooked to desired consistency: a) For smaller recipe: Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. b) For larger recipes: simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
4. Simmer for 20 minutes for a small batch and 40 minutes for larger batches.
5. To make a Spaghetti Meat Sauce:
   Brown lean ground beef,  turkey or crumbled sausage in a non-stick skillet. Drain fat well. Stir cooked meat into sauce mixture during step 1 above. Cook as directed in above recipe.
