Last night I made a pan of baked pasta and some pizza hut style breadsticks with dipping sauce. Today I think Im going to roast a chicken I prepped last night and maybe roast some potatoes with herbs de provence and garlic. I have some pencil thin asparagus in the fridge I will probably make to go with dinner. Right now Im baking a loaf of roasted garlic french bread my brother asked for.

Yum, janie & cookie!

I'm still dong my beef barley soup...

Am cooking for my family Friday night, and all I know for sure that'll be on the menu are my Dad's two dessert requests: Pineapple Upside-Down Cake and Butterscoth-Meringue Pie!

I made sirloin roast in the crockpot with beef broth, condensed french onion soup and beef consomme. I grated in several heads of garlic and some salt and pepper. Makes a great au jus for dipping. I like to use baby swiss on toasted sub buns for shredded beef sandwiches. I always put the broth in the fridge and let most of the fat come together. Then I strain it and then reheat it to dip sandwiches in.
